Cattail roots are marsh plants that can grow up to 8 feet tall.You can find Cattail Roots everywhere ,near marshlands. There are two common varieties, typha litifolia and typha angustifolia cattails. The tall, sturdy stalks with cigar-shaped tips that give cattails their name are a common sight in marshlands all across the continent.You can eat the cattail roots but make sure that you cook it well or it will be to hard to chew. The cattail root is a non-vascular plant.
